MAQ Lab은 AI 코딩 에이전트를 적극 활용해, 실제 시장에서 작동하는 알고리즘 트레이딩 시스템을 처음부터 끝까지 만들어보는 오픈 스터디입니다.MAQ Lab is an open study that uses AI coding agents to build live-ready algorithmic trading systems end to end.

미션Mission

Multi-Agent Quant Lab (MAQ Lab) 은 AI 코딩 에이전트(Claude, Codex 등) 를 적극적으로 활용해 실제 시장(주식 · 크립토)에서 작동하는 알고리즘 트레이딩 시스템을 처음부터 끝까지 만들어보는 스터디입니다. Multi-Agent Quant Lab (MAQ Lab) uses AI coding agents (Claude, Codex, …) to build algorithmic trading systems that work in real stock & crypto markets — from end to end.

논문을 쓰기 위한 연구도, 발표를 위한 백테스트도 아닙니다. 목표는 단 하나: Not research for papers, not backtests for slides. There is only one goal:

“실거래에 투입할 수 있는 시스템을 만든다.”“Build a system we can actually trade live.”

이를 위해 AI 에이전트는 우리의 동료 개발자이자 리서처로 일합니다. 사람은 가설과 판단을 맡고, 에이전트는 코드 · 데이터 · 검증을 빠르게 돌립니다. To get there, AI agents work as our fellow developers and researchers. Humans own the hypotheses and judgment; agents run code, data, and validation — fast.

어떻게 진행하나How it runs

두 단계로 진행합니다. 먼저 함께 읽고 설계하고, 그다음 직접 만들어 시장에서 검증합니다.In two stages — first we read and design together, then we build and validate in the market.

  1. Stage 1 · 학습과 설계Stage 1 · Learn & design
    핵심 논문과 코드를 리뷰하며 Multi-Agent LLM 트레이딩 프레임워크를 익히고, 우리 시스템을 설계합니다. Reviewing key papers and code to learn multi-agent LLM trading frameworks, then designing our own system.
  2. Stage 2 · 구현과 실거래Stage 2 · Build & trade
    시스템을 구현하고, 국내 증권사·국내외 코인 거래소 API로 실제 시장에서 매매하며 결과를 정리합니다. Building the system, trading real markets through Korean brokerage and global crypto-exchange APIs, then writing up the results.

무엇을 지향하나What we aim for

실거래 시스템이 일차 목표지만, 거기서 멈추지 않습니다. 결과는 논문과 서적으로 정리하고, ICAIF · NeurIPS · ICLR · AAAI 관련 워크숍 투고도 지향합니다.A live trading system comes first — but we don't stop there. We write up our results as papers and books, and aim to submit to workshops at ICAIF, NeurIPS, ICLR, and AAAI.

거창한 자격은 필요 없습니다. 다음 중 하나라도 해당되면 환영합니다.No fancy résumé required. If any of these is you, come in.

  • 시장에 대한 가설은 있는데 검증할 환경이 없는 분You have market hypotheses but no way to test them.
  • 개발은 익숙한데 금융/시장 맥락이 부족한 분You can build but lack market context.
  • 트레이딩 경험은 있는데 시스템화가 어색한 분You've traded but never systematized it.
  • AI 에이전트로 뭔가 만들어보고 싶은 분You want to build something with AI agents.
